Identification:

Silverfish have no wings, but can move fast. Adult silverfish have a body length of about ½-3/4” without including the tail. They have 6 legs, and color is sliver to brown. Often found around baseboards, walls, inside sinks & tubs. Generally living in attics, wall voids. Silverfish are mainly a nuisance pest. Indoors, they can cause property damage by chewing holes in clothing, upholstery and paper goods, such as wallpaper and books.

Control:

Treating attics with a dust product, removing switch plates, outlets covers, recess lights, base boards are the general focus.
